The Electronic Filing Service is provided through the Integrated Electronic Litigation System (eLitigation), the key benefits of which include the following:

  • Convenient and secure access to the web-based service;
  • Filing can be completed online or saved for submission at a later time;
  • Use of dynamic electronic court forms in place of PDF forms;
  • Full access to all documents in a case as long as it remains active;
  • Management of case files through e-mail and SMS reminder alerts; and
  • A Calendaring and Hearing Management Module to allow for greater flexibility in the selection of hearing dates.

Foreign law practices that are located in Singapore may apply to be registered under Order 28 rule 6 of the Rules of Court 2021 read with Order 27 rule 12(1) of the Singapore International Commercial Court Rules 2021 ("SICC Rules 2021") as users of the Electronic Filing Service for causes or matters filed in the SICC.
